Our story
19+ years connecting Indian businesses to Chinese suppliers
Indochina Trades was founded in 2006 with one straightforward goal: make it genuinely easy for Indian businesses to buy from China without getting burned by bad suppliers, hidden costs, or customs surprises.
How we started
We started in 2006 when our founder noticed a consistent problem: Indian importers were losing money not because Chinese goods were bad, but because the process of buying them was opaque. Suppliers were hard to verify, quality was inconsistent, and customs paperwork was a minefield.
The solution was simple in principle — put a trusted person on the ground in China who could visit factories, verify suppliers, inspect goods before payment, and handle the paperwork on both sides. That is still exactly what we do today, just at a larger scale.
Over 19+ years, we have built offices in Delhi, Navi Mumbai, and Yiwu — covering both the Indian client side and the Chinese sourcing side. Our team speaks Mandarin, Hindi, and English, and we have relationships with hundreds of verified suppliers built over years of repeat business.

Why choose us
After 19+ years in this business, we know what Indian importers need — and what goes wrong when they try to do it alone.
One point of contact
You deal with one person from first enquiry to final delivery. No handoffs, no confusion about who is responsible for what.
Transparent timelines
We give you realistic timelines upfront — not optimistic ones. If something changes, we tell you immediately, not after the fact.
On-the-ground presence
We are physically present in China. We visit factories, not just browse Alibaba. That difference matters when quality is on the line.
